Katie Marlow - Creative Director

Florida born, Katie enjoys a career in the arts and entertainment industries spanning more than 40 years. A Business Administration degree from FIU, and with involvement in the performing arts since the age of 7, she boasts an extensive and enviable resume, with credits as both Performer and Producer.

From gymnastics, to dance, to film and television, Katie’s passions saw her establish Dancesation Productions in 1995; an entity she headed till 2015 when it was absorbed by FaMa Studios. For the 20 years of Dancesation, Katie produced and provided customized entertainment packages for a long list of Fortune 500 companies, including Elizabeth Arden, Trump International, AT&T, Clinique, Hewlett Packard, General Mills, Crystal Cruises, Siemens Westinghouse, Honeywell, Deloitte and Touche, Home Depot, and many many more. Creating customized entertainment at the Tailgate Party for the Superbowl, and with regular performances as Mar A Lago, Katie soon established herself as a “turn key” events professional able to effortlessly respond to the exacting demands and expectations of her clients.

Katie of course, is also a world renowned dancer of the highest standing. Known the world over for her part in the “Billy Fajardo and Katie Marlow” dance team, she was half of the only couple to hold two concurrent World Titles in the DanceSport circuit. With her dance partner, Katie was a four time invitee to the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival, a calling reserved for the absolute finest dancers in the world. A headline performer who has appeared in global events on every continent, she maintains a high demand to this day as a master instructor, producer, choreographer, and adjudicator in the world of dance.

In 2004, along with her Dance Partner, Katie helped establish and guide the Salsa and Hustle dance competitive industries, developing rules, regulations, and judging formats for the World Salsa Championships (aired on ESPN 2005-2008), creating a system which today is the standard employed the world over in the Salsa Dance industry. As a founder of the IHDA (the governing organization for Latin Hustle), she also was a producer of the International Hustle & Salsa Competition (IHSC), which spanned for 20 years. She is also the producer the World Salsa Summit, the largest and most prestigious event of it’s kind in the world, now entering its 10th year.

In 2022, Katie was honored to be the first dancer to be inducted into the LoV Hall of Fame for Lifetime Achievement. The year 2022 was also marked by recognition from YouTube for the World Salsa Summit channel reaching the landmark viewership of over 100,000 subscribers and over 20 million views.

A recent move to Central Florida and a return to Special Event Production is a natural and intuitive move for Katie, who has largely retired from performing, and is increasingly focused on production, events, and development of talent. Assembling a team of the world’s finest artists, performers, producers, and coordinators, is her way of spearheading her return to the hands on servicing of her special roster of clients.

Herman Payne - Choreography & Production

An extraordinarily gifted professional, Herman’s life as a professional in the performing arts, exceeds 20 years. A Native of Florida, high schooled at the renowned New World School in Maimi, he is also the recipient of a Bachelor Of Fine Arts Degree from the Julliard School of New York City, an honor reserved for our finest. And an acknowledged ARTS winner (a recognition by the National Endowment For The Arts)

From his beginnings in the art world, Herman set foot on stage, and has appeared in the International Tour of Anne Reinking’s “Fosse”, as well as “West Side Story” under the direction of acclaimed Joey McKneely. He appeared Broadway in the production of “9 To 5”, New York City Center Encore’s production of “The Wiz”, also in “The Pajama Game”, “The ID Of Bob”, and “House Of Flowers”, all produced or choreographed by Tony Award winning professionals.

A performer for 14 years with Radio City Christmas Spectacular, he has also worked side by side with musical artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Whitney Houston, Lisa Lisa, Mariah Carey, Deborah Cox, May, Destiny’s Child… And more.

Working alongside Katie Marlow since 2007, first as choreographer, later moving into production and direction of events for Katie’s Dancesation Company.

Always in demand internationally as both performer and choreographer, Herman is also on staff at the prestigious New World School of the Arts, as both Master Instructor and Choreographer for their productions. Also on staff with the Miami City Ballet, her is also the Co-Artistic Director for the annual summer intensive Broadway Theatre Project.

Danny Devalos

When you want accomplished, look no further than Danny Davalos. Award winning Dancer, Choreographer, and performer, Danny has twice performed at The Academy Awards with Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, and Zac Efron. He has danced with Gwyneth Paltrow in Glee, and performed with Jennifer Aniston, Ashton Kutcher, and more.

Selected for Fox’s Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and HBO’s True Blood, Danny - belying his young age - is a veteran of the stage, performs at the highest levels, and is renowned for his excellence as performer, choreographer, and production leader.

Through True Vision Entertainment, he has been worked with Amazon, Netflix, Warner Bros., Disney, and more. Artists like Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Cher, Paula Abdul, have all relied on Danny’s talent and skill to achieve their exacting standards and demands.

His list of performances, choreography, and more, would run to several pages here. Called upon to contribute his choreography genius to “So You Think You Can Dance”, sought to perform on “Dancing With The Stars”, Danny remains one of the industry’s known assets as a solid professional.

Julia Hayko - Communications Coordinator

Julia Hayko is an accomplished Communications Coordinator with over 5 years experience in communications, social marketing and PR. Julia graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor in Social Work and Minor in Communications Studies specializing in Social Marketing. Julia has completed over 20 years of dance education in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap and hip-hop. She discovered Latin dance 3 years ago and fell in love with Salsa and Bachata. Since then, she has been training and working with a number of artists internationally.

Julia considers herself lucky to be able to combine her work in communications with her passion for Dance -therefore specializing in communications and PR for professional dancers and small businesses to create custom marketing plans that are individualized to each professional. Her experience in the industry gives her an edge while working with dancers and fitness professionals.
